Cheese Fondue

Derived from the French word "fondre" which means "melt", this dish consisting of a smooth and creamy mixture of cheese melted in dry
white wine is served communally out of a pot made from earthenware or ceramic which is called a "caquelon", and accompanied
by cubes of boule bread. Long forks are used to spear the
bread before dipping it into the cheese.
